THE CHALLENGE:
The Institute for Advancing Computing Education (IACE) had recently developed a new brand identity but needed help expanding and implementing it across different platforms. As a research-focused nonprofit, they required a cohesive and functional brand system that could be easily managed by their team while maintaining consistency. The challenge was to extend their existing brand into practical, user-friendly assets that aligned with their mission while ensuring flexibility for ongoing use.
THE SOLUTION:
Building upon IACE’s established visual identity, I expanded their brand guidelines to provide clearer direction on usage and consistency. I introduced editable templates for Google Slides and social media, ensuring their team could create professional, on-brand materials without needing advanced design skills. To streamline their workflow, I uploaded all assets into Canva, allowing them to easily adjust and apply brand elements as needed. This approach ensured scalability, efficiency, and a polished look across all communications.
MY PART:
✔ Expanded the brand guideline one-sheet to provide clearer usage instructions
✔ Created branded templates for Google Slides and social media
✔ Uploaded all assets into Canva, enabling easy editing and accessibility
✔ Ensured consistency across materials, refining layouts and reinforcing the brand’s structure
The result? A stronger, more functional brand system that allows IACE to maintain professionalism while giving their team the tools to create high-quality, branded content with ease.
